Today we headed out to the farmers’s market (I got a ball of sock yarn) and had cider doughnuts and watched people. A nice way to spend a Saturday morning 🙂

When I’m out at something like an art fair or farmers’ market I absolutely LOVE my crossbody tote from Portland Leather — I actually had a wider fabric strap on while we were out and about. Much more comfy on my shoulder, but I’m not a fan of how they look, so I swapped back when I got home before I took pics!

This reel seems SUPER OBVIOUS — but guys, I swear to god. I spent a LONG time thinking I needed a lot of different length skirts to make outfits work. Since I wear layers so much, I now just roll the waistband (or hike it way up) to get the look I like. The looser the elastic, the more comfy it is to make a quick and dirty adjustment like this!

Today was a fun trip to the farmers’ market where I scored a super-fine ball of alpaca/wool blend sock color in my favorite colors!! The farmers’ market was particularly nice because it’s one of the last fun things I did before I got super-sick, so I feel like I’m getting back to normal life!

OK knit-friends. I’m DYING to find a pattern similar to this sweater (lacework, bell sleeves, cropped and would LOVE one with a drawstring closure like this). I’m in love with this sweater — I have it in white and green and I want more colors!!

Today was an odd day — I had a rough night from my Victorian malady and was up from 3 onward, then fell asleep around 9 for a few hours so I’m all backwards! Since sleeping in I managed to take a bath and then picked up my husband from work and we went for a drive. So. You know. Super productive day 🙂

Today was a slow day spent taking it easy with a slow walk and admiration of baby geese. I’m still getting over my Victorian malady, but was happy to get out to meander through the park in the sunshine for the first time since I got sick!

This was a bit of an odd-miracle dress for me! I saw it on the Torrid site AFTER it had sold out in all sizes but the smallest and largest. Nevertheless, I kept checking back and one morning BOOM! It was there in my size, and what’s more at a super clearance price! I snapped it up. I was SURE they’d cancel my order, but it arrived on my doorstep a week later and I’m assuming it was an oddball return/restock!

I will say… the top is not as fitted as I typically like. It’s almost just too small — as in, it fits fine, but I have to make a choice… if I want the underbust seam to sit snug against my body, then I have to lengthen the straps to create a VERY boobalicious look. Conversely, I can shorten the straps to regular boobalicious (I mean, cleavage is a given for me in a sundress 😂😂) and the seam sits a bit high, which makes the dress hang a bit odd and look more loose than I like.

Luckily, I have this white lacework sweater from @shopcider that is turning into a serious staple for me. It’s a cute, cropped length, covers up without being overly modest, and it’s nice and cool. I have a similar one in green and love it so much am considering a Ravelry hunt to make my own version. If you know of a good knitting pattern (I don’t crochet, though I think this style probably has some good crochet options) — anyway, if you know of a good pattern let me know!!
